"My home is nearly 60 years old and the roof had not been maintained, with just very make shift repairs of silicon over the years. Then we had a major roof leak, and a restoration was mandated by my insurance company. A very comprehensive list of works was to be undertaken by a qualified repairer. After getting several quotes and listening to the information given to me about the restoration, I confidently settled with Alan Mitchener’s company. Affordable Total Restorations were recommended by 2 separate people and Alan also suggested various improvements and cost-effective ideas. As well as contacting the insurance representatives to make sure I would not be out of warranty with the changes he was suggesting, he was constantly on site, working alongside his employees. A full restoration including: pressure cleaning the roof, replacement of all broken and chipped tiles, valley flashings were rust treated and tiles were cut back, all repointing and bedding was done. My solar panels were masked off and then a surface primer and 2 coats of paint were sprayed. I also opted to have the gutters, facias and eaves painted to match. Alan and his team did an absolutely fantastic job. My thanks not only go to Alan, but his team of Adam, Irwin and Emma in the office who answered so many questions. Adam also did a great job on the roof pointing and painting, i can't find any faults in his workmanship at all. He has a good eye for detail.
